Blades and vanes for gas turbine compressors of both domestic and foreign production

The purpose of compressor blades is to change the initial parameters of the gas and convert the kinetic energy of the rotating rotor into the potential energy of the compressed gas

The shape, dimensions, and methods of fixing compressor blades on the rotor do not differ much from those of turbine blades. In a compressor, at the same flow rate, the gas is compressed, its volume decreases, and the pressure increases; therefore, the blades on the first stage of the compressor are longer than those on the final one.
