From an idea to the finished product: Pumori-Energy’s success story

Starting as a small team of like-minded people, we joined our efforts for the common goal of creating reliable and efficient products for turbines. With time, our company has grown into one of the leading industrial companies, continuously developing and improving its skills. THE HISTORY OF THE BLADE

2001

Pumori-Energy Ltd established on 22 August 2001.

It started work with only two machining centres: an Okuma, and a C. B. Ferrari.

The company staff numbered five people.

 

2002

First set of working blades of stage 20 for the Т­100­130 turbine (UTMZ) manufactured

2004

Contract signed with Turboden from Italy and blading manufactured in the course of 5 years for bio-fuel steam turbines

2007

Long-term cooperation agreement signed with Power Machines

2007 - 2012

Working blades for various Power Machines turbines manufactured and delivered, incl. for turbines of 200, 300, 660, 800 MW as well as turbines of 1000 MW for nuclear power plants

2008 - 2009

Blades and vanes manufactured and delivered for high-pressure cylinders of five turbines of 220 MW made by Power Machines for India

2012

Contract signed with Gazturbokomplekt for delivery of various types of blades and vanes for gas turbines

2014
  • Manufacture launched of gas turbine working blades of alloys with 65 and 77% of nickel, blades of the VT­8 titanium, and generator working blades of duralumin.
  • Contract signed with The Ural Turbine Works whereby blades and vanes for steam turbines of 30 to 300 MW produced by the Works were manufactured and shipped for a number of years
2014 - 2019

Blades and vanes manufactured for GTT­3M and GTT­12 gas turbines operated in the plants of EuroChem, Uralchem a. o.

2015 - 2016

Contract signed and implemented for manufacture and delivery of blades and vanes for MAN gas turbines working on gas pipelines in Turkmenistan (import substitution)

2015 - 2017

Working blades manufactured for a K­800­240 turbine operated in a power plant in China, and for a K­200­130 turbine operated in Greece

2015 - 2019
  • Contract signed with Dalenergomash under which blades and vanes for GTT­3M and GTT­12 gas turbines were manufactured and shipped
  • Launched manufacture of blades and vanes for marine engines
2016

Contract signed with Kazakhstan for delivery of blading for a 100 MW turbine

2016 - 2019

Working blades of K­300­240 (Turboatom) and K­500­240 (Turboatom) steam turbines certified for design and standard performance restoration for Reftinskaya GRES, an Enel Russia company

2017

Matrix toolbox, an automated storage system for cutting tools, started to be used

2017 - 2018

Blades manufactured for 25 stages of a 100 MW steam turbine (Turboatom) operated in a power plant in Cuba

2017 - 2019

Blades manufactured for turbines of 50–200 MW operated in power plants in Belarus and Kazakhstan

2017 - 2020

Contracts signed with REP Holding JSC for delivery of blading for 32­MW GE turbines purchased under licence (import substitution) Blading manufactured for 9 compressors

2017 - 2021

Participation in international power industry exhibitions in Cologne, Vienna, Paris, Milan

2018
  • Contract signed with a British company for manufacture and delivery of blades for a 100 MW turbine to Bosnia and Herzegovina
  • Commercial operation of the Dispatcher shopfloor data collection system started
2019
  • Operation of two new Okuma machining centres started (Multus U 3000 and MB­66 VB)
  • Production of blades/vanes started for gas turbines made by Zorya-Mashproekt (Ukraine) and operated in Russian gas line compressor stations
  •  The first set of working-blade assemblies of the control stage of the PT­135­130 turbine manufactured. Made of rolled stock without the traditional process of making assemblies by welding two blades together
2019 - 2020

Blading manufactured for hydraulic-turbine generators made by Electrotyazhmash-Privod, for generators of duralumin, and for generators made by ELSIB

2019 - 2021

The quality management system recertified to the new version of ISO 9001:2015

2020

Over 55 000 blades and vanes for steam and gas turbines and compressors manufactured within one year

2020 - 2021

Manufacture launched of blades and vanes for compressors of GTK­10­4 and GTN­16 gas turbines for Gazprom’s compressor stations

2021
  • An emergency set of blades with 77% of nickel manufactured for a chemical plant
  • A set of blades for a Mitsubishi turbine manufactured by reverse engineering

  • The list of the company’s employees has reached 100 people!
2022
  • Audited successfully by Russian Gas Turbines (RGT), Power Machines, and Tatenergo
  • Blading reverse-engineered and manufactured for stage 25 of the Siemens T­30 turbine (city of Brno)
2023
  • Audited successfully by STGT
  • Two new machining centres purchased and put into operation
  • Pumori-Energy won the Brand of the Year 2023 in Russia Award in the Machine-building category
  • Company development strategic targets set up until the year 2028
